@savedfaveslast yearWhile they are still a bit wet on the oven tray I like to sprinkle them with sea salt and I find the salt then sticks to them and it's just a case of roasting them and evaporating all of their moisture, and much of salt should remain attached/impregnated and give them a nice salty kick ...4

@Sumbibebe12 years agoI've always loved roasting cashews as a kid in Mozambique. These were straight from the tree using a process I know I can't apply here in California. Natsugashi, I've also bought what now is called organic cashews or raw cashew nuts (they are never sold in their raw/out of shell state) and have roasted them without the boiling process and they would turn brown but in an uneven tone and without the salt flavor, however, they are still great to eat but they'll look nothing like the ones bought i ...7

@pjsbays7 years agoI used Kerala Cashews. After roasting 90 minutes at 250°F, they still aren't crunchy. I'm going to revert to frying in my wok, which served me in good stead the past 30+ years. 4

@tom81816 years agoOK heres how I do it same like her but three pounds boil 10 min bake 250 2 hours then turn it up to 350 for hour and a half you will see then browning and releasing their oil sample them to test your flavor preference BEST I EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!as they sit and cool you will begin to smell and they get crunchy. ...

@seanonel3 years agoI just put mine in a dry frying pan, season with salt and/or MSG and toss until they achieve an even colouration. The natural oils in the nuts do all the heavy lifting...
