I have a few 'disassembled' nanocopters and I wondered if I could power a plane just using the tail rotor. This is the second attempt in this project. It is probably a bit heavy for the motor but it does have an airfoil wing to improve the lift. As the trimming for the test flights took rather a long time I heavily edited the footage in the build video but some people might like to see the whole session and understand it takes time to get the trim right.

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.
