@randomoverpopulatedworldid32863 years agoLove Grass Valley Group. I had friends whos parents worked at GVG. They've long since moved to places like Idaho, Wyoming. Out of CA. It was really the largest employer after gold mining. Honestly now the town has no major industry besides marijuana which keeps the town quiet impoverished. I hear the gold mining may come back but these types of industry have died in most places except the Bay Area of Ca where they were born. it was extremely sad seeing GVG leave the area. An era was over. ...3
