How I Cook a Steak

I use a Jaccard to tenderize the steak then I marinate for three hours. Cooked over a hot grill and this might be the best steak you have ever eaten. Steak Marinade 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes (Optional) 2 tablespoons boiling water to Rehydrate the pepper flakes 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard 2 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce ½ cup coarsely chopped sweet white onion, or 2T Dehydrated 1 teaspoon Garlic powder 1 teaspoon Onion powder 1 teaspoon dried oregano, preferably Mexican Jaccard the meat first, both sides at 90 degrees Mix everything together and place in a Zip-Lock bag with the steaks. Marinate in the refrigerator for one hour, then two more hours on the counter. Turn several times. After the three hours, scrape off most of the marinade and wipe with a paper towel (don't rinse them off). Salt and pepper the steaks on both sides then coat with cooking oil in preparation for the grill. Cook the steaks over a very hot charcoal grill.
