Whether you come here to rest with your family, or to conquer its mountains, its ski slopes or its unspoiled slopes, we all draw the same conclusions at the end of your stay: Zinal has invigorating properties! The Valais holiday resort of Zinal is located at an altitude of 1670 m, at the very bottom of the Val d'Anniviers nestled in the majestic landscape offered by the peaks rising to over 4000 meters: Weisshorn, Bishorn, Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn, Matterhorn and Dent Blanche. The highest peak among the "crown of peaks" surrounding Zinal is the Weisshorn. With its 4506 m, it is the fourth highest peak in Europe. It is therefore not surprising that Zinal is particularly popular with mountaineering enthusiasts. After several hours of walking, you reach, around Zinal, four refuges which also serve as a starting point for climbing the peaks. The “Avalanche Training Center” is an avalanche rescue training center; it offers rescue training and allows testing of its transmitter and receiver.
