@lizillusion23183 years ago I like how this is the second time Kimiko has voiced a cartoon equine, both of whom are absolute POLAR OPPOSITES.
One likes to crush the skulls of her enemies and literally doesn't even have an actual name.
And the other is a blend between Rarity's creativity and Pinkie Pie's enthusiasm, who loves making friendship bracelets. ... 36

@RoseCadenza3 years ago I feel like I'm uncultured by not knowing who Vanessa Hudgins is. She did a really good job as Sunny. I wonder if she'll return in the series.
I'm very familiar with Kimiko Glenn because she voiced Lena in the DuckTales reboot. I had no idea she could sing until recently. Apparently, I listened to a song from Waitress ("when He Sees Me"), and I had no idea that was her. I really like her. She gives off Kristen Chenoweth vibes. I can possibly see her coming back to voice Izzy in the series. She's known to do TV series, but I know she's also doing another Netflix original (Centaurworld).
I'm also very familiar with James Marsden from the Sonic Movie. It's so funny. When the casting video had came out, I saw him, but I couldn't remember what he was in. As much as I'd live for him to return, I don't think he will return to thr role in the series. He's too big of a celebrity (unless Hasbro really has the budget but I doubt it). Besides, he's gonna be busy working on next several Sonic Movies.
I wasn't familiar with Liza Koshy. I saw that people said she was a YouTuber. I watched one of her videos and thought that she was so hilarious and entertaining. Her as Zipp is like the perfect cast choice. I heard she's kind of highly paid. So, I don't think she'll be back for the series. Hopefully they'll get somebody just as good.
I had never heard the name Sofia Carson. I'm a musician, but I never listen to the kind of music she does. I absolutely loved the song that she did though. She was really great as Pipp.
I'd love to have all of the return, but I can't see most of them returning. ... 406

@AmitriBlight3 years ago Vanessa killed it as Sunny (her high note in Gonna Be My Day ALWAYS gives me chills) and it's so good to hear her singing again. For her first voice acting role, she did fantastic.
I only know Kimiko from Liza On Demand, so when I found out she could sing I was caught so off guard! Her voice is amazing and I've been addicted to Fit Right In. She's perfect for Izzy. (EDIT: completely forgot that Kimiko was also in Close Enough and Into the Spiderverse lol)
Don't really follow Sofia Carson like that, but I know who she is from Descendants and I know she can sing. She was pretty good as Pipp, I love how soft her voice is.
James Marsden isn't a celebrity I know too well, honestly didn't know his name beforehand (I haven't seen the Sonic movie, sue me), but I like him as Hitch and I really enjoyed his singing voice.
And I liked Liza as Zipp. Gotta say Zipp is probably my favorite pony because of her design and personality, but of course the fact that she's voiced by one of my favorite internet personalities is a huge plus as well. For Liza's first voice acting role, as well, she did awesome. ... 106

Should have done a sequel to this. It was too enjoyable and could not stop watching it a couple of times. ... 1

@lia5783 years ago This is for the people who’ve watched the movie because I’m gonna explain a little theory of mine and it’s gonna involve spoilers. I believe certain characters are distant relatives to the mane six. Sunny I believe is related to Twilight, because Sunny never gave up in believing the 3 different ponies can live together in harmony and at the end she turns into an alicorn. Her book even has Twilight’s cutie mark on it. Hitch is related to Fluttershy because there are multiple scenes when creatures are mysteriously drawn to him. Izzy is related to Pinkie Pie because she never loses optimism and she crafted the decoy just like Pinkie Pie would, with glitter. Sprout is related to Applejack because he’s the only pony who is a bright red like Big Mac, and his mother calls him sugar cube, and the only pony who calls relatives sugar cube was Applejack. Zipp is related to Rainbow Dash because she has the exact same personality as RD and didn’t want to do the makeover to disguise herself as a unicorn. Even though she’s a royal, she’s the only one out of the royal family that doesn’t wear any accessories, implying she doesn’t like girly stuff. Pipp is related to Rarity because she thrives on people’s love for her and is more girly. Now I know what you’re thinking, Pipp and Zipp are sibling how can they be related to different ponies from the mane 6. But let me explain, Have you ever realized Zipp looks way different than her sister and mother. She’s a white pony while Pipp and the Queen are purple/pink. Her not liking girly stuff is probably because she’s not a biological daughter, because Pipp and the Queen love attention and accessories. I have thought about why Pipp has really fluffy, feathery wings while Zipp doesn’t. Actually now it’s making me think they’re half siblings. They never mentioned a king and Zipp is older because the Queen says Zipp is in line for the throne, implying she’s older, so we can rule out the possibility of them being twins. Zipp got her wings from her mother, the Queen, and everything else was probably from her father. Pipp is the exact opposite, the only way for the Queen to give birth to a Pegasus with completely different wings is that if she had a different father than Zipp. She got her wings from her dad and everything else is from her mother, the Queen. So this is why I strongly believe Zipp and Pipp are related to different ponies of the mane six, because their fathers were the descendants of Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Or the Queen herself could be a descendant of Rarity and Zipp’s father was a descendant of Rainbow Dash. So that would make Zipp related to both Rarity and RD and Pipp only Rarity. ... 7
