It took a wee bit longer than expected to complete this engine oil change!
I've been procrastinating and making the dual throttle cables took a lot longer than I had planned.
Anyway, finally getting back to refilling the engine with oil and restarting the bike again with new oil.
Here's a link the first part of this 2-part video in which I drain all the oil from the bike. It also includes the steps that I took:

Here are the steps that I followed based upon what I've read in the owners handbook and the terrific threads on the VOC (Vincent Owners Club) & forum!

🔧 Refitted the gas tank
🔧 Reattached the [new] petrol/gas taps
🔧 Refitted the main sump/drain plug with new copper washer
🔧 Refitted the main oil line underneath the crank case
🔧 Installed a new oil filter into the oil filter chamber & fitting the huge brass nut
🔧 Placed the bike on the side stand [to enable more oil to be added]
🔧 Squirted oil into the banjo at the opposite end of the oil filter chamber [about 20 squirts]
🔧 Squirted oil into the oil delivery quill to get oil to the crank [about 10 squirts]
🔧 Refitted tighten the quill and tightened
🔧 Squirted oil down through the oil feed jet holder [about 10 squirts]
🔧 Refitted tighten the acorn oil feed jet holder and tightened the nut
🔧 Squirted oil down the pushrod tubes via the rocker inspection caps [about 10 squirts]
🔧 Added 3 quarts of oil into the oil main tank [topped it up later after everything settled down]
🔧 Removed the spark plugs [to assist in kicking the bike over without compression]
🔧 Kicked the bike over to try and get the oil circulating
🔧 Refitted the spark plugs
🔧 Poured in some gas
🔧 Kicked the bike and hoped for the best!
🔧 Took it for a little test ride [because you have to!]
I would be most grateful if you could point out anything that I missed, especially anything significant. Also, please consult your own manuals, handbooks and experts if needed.

You may notice that I haven't put the magneto cover / cowl back on yet. I’m going to leave it off so that I can work on other projects in upcoming videos
