Riding the Moonshiner 28 - May 3, 2014

Riding my K1200LT down US Hwy 28 (named the Moonshiner 28) starting at Bridal Veil Falls west of Highlands, NC and going west. Interesting history. Was a favorite route for moonshiners during prohibition for transporting illegal hootch to Atlanta. I personally prefer the 28 over the Tail of the Dragon. Much longer ride, just as fun, nearly as challenging and far less traffic. What a perfect day riding with my brother!!
